Refund Policy
Thank you for enrolling at imed.lk. We value your satisfaction and strive to provide you with the best online learning experience possible. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Asia Pacific Institute of Money & Entrepreneurship Development (Pvt) Ltd, hereafter referred as IMED, has adopted the following refund policy with respect to refunds for fee-paying participants and for those enrolled for paid programs (paid program means seminars, workshops, residential trainings and other program conducted by IMED).
IMED may refund any fees paid to IMED, only under special circumstances. Such circumstances include those that are beyond the control of the participants and / or IMED. Any refund requests will be considered only under the following criteria:
Category 1: Failure by IMED to offer the program as advertised
- Refund requests under this category will be processed in full after deducting a non-refundable registration and admin fee, provided that the participant has not attended any of the sessions.
Category 2: Postponing the commencement of the program by IMED and the participant does not agree with the new date
- Refund requests under this category must be made within 24 hours from the announcement of the postponement.
- Refund requests under this category will be processed in full after deducting a non-refundable registration and admin fee, provided that the participant has not attended any of the sessions.
Category 3: Participant reverses the decision to pursue the program
Refund claims under this clause are acceptable only if such request is made in writing, 2 days prior to the commencement of the program and upon satisfying the management of IMED of the reasonableness of the claim. Evidence will be required to support the claim.
- Refund requests under this category which are received AFTER the commencement will be considered at the discretion of management, and will not receive a full refund. Instead, a partial refund will be considered
Category 4: Medical reasons
Participant is unable to continue the program due to medical reasons and injuries of serious nature.
- Refund requests will require evidence in the form of medical records / reports (confidentiality will be maintained)
- The refund amount will be determined by the management of IMED after satisfying with the refund claim
Refund Requests
All refund requests must be made in writing to coo@imed.lk within the stipulated timelines clearly mentioning the details of the program and the participant.
Refunds
Once we receive your refund request, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If your request is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Please note that the refund amount will exclude any costs incurred by us during the initial purchase.
Exchanges
We do not consider any exchanges of the purchased items.
Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive your request. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
