Overview
The certificate program provides knowledge and skills to handle international trade most efficiently and profitably, Import and export procedures for those who are involved in international trade SME businesses and entrepreneurs. It discusses the practical aspects of Import and export trade and the role of government and private sector organizations involved in import and export trade such as SL customs, Import and Export Control Department, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, BOI, shipping agents freight forwards, and clearing agents.
Throughout the course, participants will be guided to follow fourteen (14) modules and practical case studies to handle practical aspects of International Trade.

Module 11 – Customs Air cargo operations
Module 12 – Role of Import and Export Control Department.
Module 13 – Import and export procedures of BOI registered firms.
